Following Game 2's loss, Team Bermuda were needing a win. During their post-game team meeting, the coaching staff challenged them to repeat the effort from Game 1 to make up for their lack of effort in Game 2. This seemed to have worked because they came out with a sense of urgency and were able to get out to an early 16-2 lead. Bermuda continued to apply pressure in the second quarter, making substitutions freely.
In the end, Bermuda came out with a 51-14 win over Lakeside Academy everyone having contributed. A few players ended up with a few bumps and bruises, but everyone was in high spirits over the win and the team looks forward to the round robin tournament on Saturday. They'll face greater competition from the 3 club teams over the 3 high schools who they played. The team looks to use the experience gained to assist in competing this weekend.
