Good news out of the Marshall University Women’s Basketball camp was that Senior Erica Woods does not have a fractured ankle.
Woods limped off the floor after contact under the Marshall Basket in their 71-56 victory over Wofford.
Speaking to www.islandstats.com Woods said, “There was no fracture with my ankle so it was just diagnosed as a severe sprain.”
Woods went on to say, “I am now able to run, but I am still having slight pain performing cuts and other lateral movements.”
Woods watched her Marshall University teams recover from a slow start picking up their second consecutive win, taking down Delaware State 62-47 at the Cam Henderson Center.
Woods declared, “I WILL be back for our game against Navy on December 29th, over the Christmas break I will continue to rehab and treat my ankle!”
