The opening game of the Bermuda Basketball Elite City League inside the Sommersfield Academy Gymnasium, saw the Somerset Flyers defeat the Pembroke Cane Toads 54 – 38. Sabuur Talebey scored a game high 25 points to lead the Somerset Flyers to victory, while Marcus Robinson scored 11 points for the Pembroke Cane Toads.
Game 2 saw the Southampton Titans defeat the Paget Bearcats 53 – 30. The Southampton Titans were led to victory with Richard Warner and Jordan Knights both scoring 12 points, while Darae Smith scored 10 points for the Paget Bearcats.
