Wade-Fray Out With Suspected Broken Finger

Former Female Athlete of the Year Jenaya Wade-Fray, will more than likely now get other Bermuda media coverage on her being named to the Great Britain Women’s Olympic Training Squad now that www.islandstats.com is about to report that she has suffered a suspected broken finger.

Wade-Fray missed out on playing in her teams UWIC Archers 120 – 71 win over Leeds Carnegie with her coach Damian Jennings ruling her out of the game.

“Wade-Fray is out with a suspected broken finger, joining Frankie Whitby on the extended injury list,” said Jennings.

Wade-Fray will be looking to recover in time for the Great Britain Women’s training camp, back on March 29th, www.islandstats.com reported Standard Life Great Britain Senior Women's Basketball team was announced a preliminary squad of 20 players who will be in with a chance of being formally invited into the preparation and training camp for London 2012.

Wade-Fray was listed. Within the list of 20 players identified by British Basketball there are five college players who could make the cut and be part of the 18 athletes invited to attend the Surrey Sports Park based training camp. The group of 18 will assemble on May 5th to commence their preparations for the summer.
