Sullivan Phillips and his Prievidza teammates surged ahead in their Slovakian Menís National Basketball League Play-Off Semi-Final series against Nitra winning 73 - 59.
Nitra was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game.
Prievidza made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Nitra turnovers and had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nitra was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch.
Bermudaís Phillips led Prievidza to victory with 25 points and 7 rebounds. American guard David Godbold contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winners.
Australian forward Ater Majok answered with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks for Nitra and the former international center Branislav Tomek added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Nitra.
Phillips went 6-of-10 from the Field and 13-of-15 from the Free Throw Line. Phillips added 1 Assist to go along with his 1 Steal and 1 Blocked Shot in 31 minutes of action.
