Northlands Primary School overcame Bermuda High School in a tight final to win the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Primary School Division 1 Netball Tournament.
The match was a seesaw battle with the lead changing numerous times before Northlands prevailed 8-7.
Ameerah Outerbridge and Malaysia Furbert each scored three goals for the champions, while Zeni Hansey added two. BHS got four goals from Somers Estwanik and two from Kate O’Keefe.
Northland’s defeated Saltus 10-5 in their Semi-Final, Outerbridge led Northlands with eight goals with Furbert scoring twice. Saltus was led by Shaniyah Smith Daniels with three goals and Erin Alfrey with two.
Estwanik scored all three goals in BHS’ 3-2 win over West Pembroke Primary in the other Semi-Final, Gabriella Cabral and M’Zaiyah Martin scored one each for West Pembroke.
