BMA recorded their second win of the season when they defeated third place PHC Lady Zebras 24 - 15 during the Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League play. BMA got 15 goals from Chaquita Simmons, while Vernelle Crockwell scored 9 times.
The Space Hoppers defeated Works & Engineering 37 - 22, Denise Rawlins scored 12 goals for Works & Engineering who also got 10 goals from Nikita Trott.
League leaders YMSC Bluebirds defeated Family 42 - 15, Fredericka Samuels outscored the Bluebirds herself scoring 34 goals for the Bluebirds, Eshe Grant added 6 goals and Danielle Raynor scored twice. Meanwhile Amalia Smith scored 9 goals for Family, while Nakia Webb added 4 goals and Diara Benjamin scored twice.
