Only two of the scheduled three games in the Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League play was able to be completed as rain cancelled the 7pm game between the Space Hoppers and the Warwick Breakers.
The game between Family and the BMA ended 19 – 19. Amali Smith scored 11 goals for Family, while Nikia Webb added 8 goals. Flo Simons scored 11 goals for BMA, while Makeda Goater chipped in with 8 goals.
Young Men Social Club defeated Works & Engineering 38 – 10. Fredericka Samuels scored 24 goals to lead Young Men Social Club to victory, with Danielle Raynor scoring 9 times, Shanelle Lewis scored 4 goals and Eshe Grant scored once. Donnisha Gardener scored 5 goals for Works & Engineering, who also got 3 goals from Keisha Outerbridge and 2 goals from Nikita Trott.
