After bringing you Bermuda Netball Association’s Youth results and round up on Saturday and Make Up Senior results and round up on Monday, today www.islandstats.com brings you the current Division Standings and Leaguing Goal scorers.

There is a two way tie in the Digicel Under 12, Digicel Under 16 and the senior Leagues.

The Phoenix Sparks and North Village Lady Rams Red both have 10 points leading the Digicel Under 12 Division, with Jazaya Peets-Brimmer from the North Village Lady Rams Red leading the goal scoring department with 22 goals.

In the Digicel Under 16 Division Amaiah Butterfield from the Storm Lightning is the League Leading goalscorer with 127 goals as the Storm Lightning and Phoenix Fire are level at the top of the table with 18 points each.

In the Senior League the Phoenix Heat and Lindo’s Tigers are level on points at the top of the table both have 23 points, with Danielle Raynor from the Phoenix Heat leading the goalscoring for the League with 257 goals.

BNA Senior League Make Up Matches

The Bernard’s Park Netball Courts was the scene of Bermuda Netball Association Senior League make-up matches, the evening saw a triple header that produced 217 goals on the night.

Robin Hood would go down 51 - 22 to the Lindo’s Tigers, the Lindo’s Tigers would get 30 goals from Jakenya Trott, Charlene Gomez added 18 goals and Allison Outerbridge scored 3 times, Charlie Bridgman scored 12 goals for Robin Hood and Jess Arneil added 10 goals. Khianda Pearman was named the Lindo’s Tigers MVP, while Naomi Taylor was the Robin Hood MVP.

The Storm Lightning went down 59 - 22 to the Phoenix Heat, MVP Danielle Raynor continues her scoring blitz with 54 goals to lead the Phoenix Heat to victory, while Arkeita Smith added 5 goals, Diara Benjamin scored 10 goals for the Storm Lightning, Amaiah Butterfield added 8 goals and MVP Jaylynn Hines added 4 goals.

The Storm Thunder defeated the North Village Lady Rams 40 – 23 in the final game of the evening, the Storm Thunder were led by MVP Selah Tuzo with 24 goals, Elishae Smith added 15 goals and Kaamilah Nasir scored once, the North Village Lady Rams would get 13 goals from Nikita Trott, 7 goals from Jahtuere Trott and Darrika Simons scored 3 times, Stephanie Buckley was named the MVP.

Digicel Under 13 & Under 16 Round Up's

The Digicel Under 12 Division saw a double header with 54 goals scored.

In the opener the North Village Lady Rams Red edged the Phoenix Sparks 16 – 15. Xaana Green led the North Village Lady Rams Red to victory with 12 goals, while Jazaya Brimmer Butterfield added 4 goals, Jayla Peets was named the teams MVP. Hailey Trott scored 5 goals and was named the MVP for the Phoenix Sparks, Khylie Smith added 4 goals, while Sydney Santos scored 3 times, Sanaa Grant scored twice and Skye Charles added the other.

In the other match the Storm defeated the North Village Lady Rams White 16 – 7. Nevaeh Barclay led the way for the Storm with a game high 7 goals, MVP Malaysia Furbert added 6 goals, while Eliyah Seon scored twice and Jayunae Bailey would score once, Aniyah Minors scored 4 goals for the North Village Lady Rams White, with Jari Virgil adding 3 goals and Ja'shay Trott scored once, Ra'eesah Robinson was named the teams MVP.

The Digicel Under 16 Division saw a triple header with 124 points in total scored. The Storm Lightning would get 31 goals from Amaiah Butterfield in their 44 – 9 win over the Warriors, MVP Asrael Basden added 13 goals, Ariana Sabir scored 4 goals and was named the Warriors MVP, Ghile Dailey added 3 goals and Dayla Richards scored twice.

The Storm Thunder would go down 21 – 7 to the Phoenix Fire, the Phoenix Fire would get 16 goals from Niasiah Berkeley, MVP K’xiyae Gibbons added 4 goals and Rokshana Suresakumar scored once, the Storm Thunder got 4 goals from Amayah Burt and 2 goals from Makaylie Smith, with Anisa Seon named the MVP.

The Reds won the battle of the North Village Lady Rams with a 35 – 5 win over the White’s. Rhiannon Higgins would score 20 goals for the North Village Lady Rams Red, Maya Crockwell and Coriah Simmons added 5 goals each, Jessie Debraga would score 3 goals and Diauri Richardson scored twice, Jada Davis was named the Red’s MVP, the North Village Lady Rams White got 3 goals from MVP Sanaa Berkeley and Gabrielle Romaine scored twice.

Nasir Attending Wasp Netball Training Camp

This week Bermuda Netballer Nabiilah Nasir is with the Wasps Netball team via the Bermuda Government National Junior Athlete Scholarship Programme.

Nasir has an intensive week of netball training lined up.

This past weekend before departing Nasir scored 14 goals for the Storm Thunder in their Bermuda Netball Associations Senior League match against the Lindo’s Tigers.

She was recently named the Bermuda School Sports Federations Senior School All-Stars MVP scoring a game high 17 goals.

Nasir is also the Senior League’s Second Leading Goalscorer thus far on the Season.

BNA Digicel Youth & Senior Division Round Up

The Bermuda Netball Association’s Digicel Under 12 & Under 16 Division, as well as the Senior League play took place at the Bernard Park.

Digicel Under 12 Division

The Digicel Under 12 Division saw the teams play a Who’s Who Tournament with the North Village Lady Rams White team winning with 9 points, while the North Village Rams Red team finished second with 6 points, the Storm finished third with 3 points and the Phoenix Sparks finished fourth.

Under 16 Division

The North Village Lady Rams Red were unable to field a team so they lost by default to the Storm Thunder who earned 3 points.

The Phoenix Fire defeated the Warriors 22 – 6. The Phoenix Fire were led by Naisiah Berkeley with 14 goals, while Kasia Weeks added 8 goals, the Warriors got 5 goals from Gihle Dailey, while Dayla Richards added the other goal.

The North Village Lady Rams White defeated Storm Thunder 18 – 16. Gabrielle Romaine led the North Village Lady Rams White to victory with 13 goals, while Sanaa Berkeley added the other 5 goals, with Sa’Mya Lightbourne named the teams MVP. MVP Amayah Burt scored six goals for the Storm Thunder, Imara Richardson added 4 goals, while Jaelan Rewan and Makaylie Smith both added 3 goals each.

Senior Division

The Phoenix Heat continued to dominate the Senior League with their skill and experience as they defeated Robin Hood 77 – 15. Danielle Raynor would score 69 goals to lead the Phoenix heat to victory, while Arkeita Fubler the teams MVP scored 8 goals, MVP Charlie Bridgeman scored 10 goals for Robin Hood and Kessiah Jackson added 5 goals.

The Lindo’s Tigers defeated the Storm Thunder 24 – 21, the Lindo’s Tigers would get 12 goals from Allison Outerbridge and MVP Demiqua Daniels, while Nabiilah Nasir scored 14 goals for the Storm Thunder, Selah Tuzo added 4 goals and Kaamilah Nasir scored 3 times, Olivia Onyia was named the teams MVP.

Final game was a great confidence booster for 5th place Storm Lightning as they battled back and forth before defeating the North Village Lady Rams 47 – 40. The Storm Lightning would get 25 goals from MVP Jaylynn Hines, while Asrael Basden added 14 goals and Sonja Townsend scored 8 times. Darrika Simons would score 27 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, while Nakita Trott added 13 goals, Anna Bruce Smith was named the teams MVP.
