Smith clocked a time of 14:48, which breaks Kavin Smith’s National Record time of 14:57 he set back in February 1997.
Alexander Brown would clock a winning time of 14:23, with Joshua Cowperthwaite second in 14:27, and Lewis Gamble-Thompson rounded out the top three finishers with a time of 14:28.
