Bermuda’s Vanessa James and her partner Morgan Cipres, were congratulated for their performance in the Winter Olympics 2018 by the French Département de Seine-et-Marne.
One could imagine disappointment, the frustration of failing close to the podium. But no! It was with a smile that Ciprès and James welcomed their fifth place at the Pyeongchang Olympics.
In form since the beginning of the season, despite the disillusionment of the European championships (4th), the French couple held its level and gave its maximum.
Cipres said, "We're happy with that. We fought, it was a crazy competition, the level was amazing. I think every olympiad is evolving and everyone has proved it. I'm very proud of us because we worked and we did our job we finish fifth and we'll stay in history, I think it's been a while since we had a top 5 At The Olympics in art. We gave the best of ourselves."
