Chayce Smith and Amanda Nurse are the 2016 Sir Stanley Burgess Male and Female Champions both setting new Records.
Smith clocked a time of 15:54 breaking the previous record of 16:34 set by Chris Harris in 2014, visitor Ian Harris was second in 16:39 and youngster Iziah Tucker finished third in 17:43.
Visitor Nurse 4th overall she stopped the clock in a time of 18:07 breaking the previous record of Tamils Williams set in 2014 when she was clocked at 19:35. Adding to the race, Nurse finished as the second qualifier in the USA Olympic Trial California International Marathon. Gayle Lindsay was the second female finisher and 7th overall with a time of 19:29 and the third female finisher was Laura Wright who was 17th overall clocking 21:34.
Jessie Marshall won the 2016 Sir Stanley Burgess Junior Road Race Champion, she was clocked across the line in 7:37, with Yari Tucker finishing second in 7:44 and Myeisha Sharrieff finished third in 8:37.
