Dage Minors has pulled out of Sunday’s USATF Bermuda Grand Prix because of an injury.
Minors said to www.islandstats.com, “Since early this year, May was always going to be a big month for us, between the USATF Bermuda Games and the Bermuda Day Derby.
I was looking forward to competing in both of them, each race for a different purpose and meaning in regard's to my season and career.
Unfortunately last week after the last race in the Swans Legends Series, I started to feel some pain in my right knee, it has impacted my preparation for these races tremendously as I haven’t been able to train for close to a week.
With that said, I won’t be competing in either, right now the main focus is finding out what’s causing the pain, getting back healthy, building back fitness, and racing again in June as we progress to the CAC Games in July, and the rest of the summer.”
