The 2022 Commonwealth Fencing Championships are underway with Bermuda athletes competing.
The Championships saw the return of many world-class athletes in Fencing, who will be determined to capture the Gold Medal.
Two Bermuda Fencers competed on Day 8 of the competition in the Veteran Men's Foil Individual Division in the Round of 128.
Donald Treanor took on Mark Robertson from Wales, advancing with a 10 – 3 win, Treanor advanced to the Round of 64 to face John Troiano from England.
Treanor would battle Troiano in the Round of 64, but he would fall 10 – 1.
Federico Candiolo went to battle against Simon Curling also from Wales, Candiolo advanced defeating Curling 10 – 1, he advanced to face Richard Purdie from Australia in the Round of 64.
In the Round of 64, Candiolo battled Purdie, but he would fall 10 – 7.
