Damacio Hendrickson, A’Ria Philpott-Jackson, Sasha Henderson, Nadia Henderson, and Cyril Whitter represented Aries Sports Center in the Grappling Industries Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ('BJJ') competition in Atlantic City.
The group took part in their first round robin BJJ event, the second overseas competition for the facility this year having competed in May in the Ontario 2022 Open.
Hendrickson won the Silver Medal, while Philpott-Jackson, Sasha and Nadia Henderson all won Bronze Medals to show for their efforts.
Whitter competed in the Adult Male 155lb category with 8 other competitors. Whitter competed in 4 matches over the course of the morning resulting in 1 win and 3 losses.
