Swan's Running Club Legends Race Series 2022 Coordinator Marla Smith announced the Series Winners.
Smith said, “This year marks the 5th year of the Legends Race Series. Though a bumpy start we have been able to have all 4 races in person this year and I hope that this is the start of getting road racing back to normal.
Just to remind everyone about the criteria for completing the Legends Race series. There are 4 races, the Ed Sherlock 8k, The Raymond Swan 5 Miler, Ludwig Cann 10K and the Sir Stanley Burgess 5k. Participants had to complete 3 out of 4 of the races to be eligible for prizes. The male and female participants that amassed the most points in the best 3 out of 4 series would be declared the overall winner. There are also age group winners who were awarded trophies for amassing the most points in their respective age groups.
