Today it was announced that the Bermuda Tourism Authority has partnered with the Bermuda organizers and the IFBB Caribbean Grand Prix to host the event.
Dion Smith, Promoter, IFBB Caribbean Grand Prix, Tashae Thompson, BTA Director of Experiences, and Ross Ceasar represented the Professional Body Builders of Bermuda spoke at the Press Conference.
Meanwhile, a Large Group Exemption for the NPC Worldwide 2022 has been approved.

Whereas the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sport considers that Dion Smith of Smith Technologies Ltd. is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5(5) of the Public Health (Covid-19 Emergency Powers) (Phased Re-Opening) Regulations 2021 on groups of more than 30 persons assembling;
Now, therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5(5) of those Regulations to Dion Smith of 2 Elliott Street, Hamilton HM09, permitting a gathering of 469 persons to assemble for the purposes of NPC Worldwide 2022 Caribbean Grand Prix ‘Pro Qualifier’ on March 26th, 2022 at 9:00 am to 11:30 pm, at Ruth Seaton James Center for the Performing Arts, CedarBridge Academy, 1 CedarBridge Lane, Devonshire DV02, subject to all public health laws and regulations in place at the time of your event, the standard large group conditions below.
