As www.islandstats.com reported back on August 11th, the Swan's Running Club Labor Day Race is on. There will be a new route this year. This 5K race will be the start of the road race season. There is a limit of 100 participants. Juniors and walkers will start at 8:00 am and runners at 8:30 am.
The Adult runners will compete on a course that starts at Union Square, Right on Victoria Street, left onto Wesley Street, right on Church Street, left onto Par-La-Ville, left on to Front Street to Crow Lane Roundabout back up to Front Street up to Chew Stick turn around turn left on Court Street, to Dundonald Street to Union Square.
The Juniors will cover 2.2 KM, or 1.37Miles, they will start at Union Square, left on Victoria Street, right on to King Street, straight down to Front Street, turn right on Front Street to Queen Street, up Queen Street, right on Church Street, left on Cedar Ave, right on Victoria Street and left into Union Square to finish.
