Flora Duffy completed her leg of the ASICS World Ekiden 2020.
Duffy a team member of Corpore Sano, completed a 5K run in Boulder.
Duffy said, “I completed my run on some of my favorite Boulder gravel. So nice to be back here.”
Duffy’s Team Corpore Sano members include Lindsay Flanagan, Deena Kastor, Andrew Rafla, Clayton Young, and Adriana Nelson.
Duffy who is recovering from a leg injury completed her team's Leg 4 which was a 5K, in a time of 17:37.
Flanagan completed a 5K in a time of 16:44, with Young clocking a 10K time of 30:22, Rafla also completed a 10K in a time of 30:25.
The team's current time of 1:35:05, with a 7.195K and 1 more 5K to be completed.
Duffy is the second Bermudian to take part in the ASICS World Ekiden 2020, with current Female Athlete of the Year Jessica Lewis competing for Team No Boundaries.
Duffy concluded, “Shout out to the 11,000 teams who have celebrated running with this Ekiden Challenge.”
