Armstrong Claims Sectional Titles & Meets Carifta Standard

Nathan Armstrong represented Pompton Lakes Men’s Track & Field in the North 1 Group 1 at the NJSIAA Sectional Championships, which took place inside the John Bennett Indoor Sports Complex.
Armstrong claimed a Sectional Championship title winning the Men’s 1600m in a time of 4:29.02. At the 1500m mark, Armstrong was clocked at 4:11.02, which is a new Indoor Personal Best and also meets the Carifta Qualifying Standard time for the distance.
Armstrong would then claim his double Sectional Championship title when he won the Men’s 3200m clocking a time of 9:52.12.
In the Men’s 800m, Armstrong finished 4th with a time of 2:04.97 which was a new Indoor Personal Best.
Armstrong following his strong showing Qualified for Group Championships in all 3 races.
