Lamont Marshall and Rose-Anna Hoey are the Bermuda Day Half Marathon Derby Male and Female Champions.
A total of 609 runners officially crossed the line with 529 Individuals, 37 Open Relay teams, 33 Club/Corporate teams, 3 Masters teams and 7 Family teams.
Marshall turned in a commanding performance from start to finish to claim his third victory.
Marshall who was looking to get under the 1:10.00 mark, pushed it to the limit but said, it was no to be so he made sure he secured the win in a time of 1:11:38, Sean Trott was second in a time of 1:14:58 and Sammy Degraff finished third in a time of 1:16:13.
Hoey would claim her second title when she crossed the line in a time of 1:27:58, she was the 25th runner to cross the line, the second female to cross the line was Martina Olcheski-Bell who was 33rd overall with a time of 1:30:43 and the 39th overall finisher was the third female finisher Deon Breary who was clocked at 1:33:20.
