Lamont Marshall competed in the Gate River 15K in Jacksonville, Marshall finished 27th overall, and in doing so he would break the Bermuda Distance Record.
Marshall would cross the line in a time of 47.55 which would break Michael Watson’s Record time of 48.38 set back in November 1986, 33 years ago.
Marshall said following the race, “I was struggled with a cold all week but still had to carry on as normal. Was a solid minute and some off my desired time but was happy to come away with another National Record.”
