In 2017 Jay Donawa and Deon Breary were crowned the Bermuda Half Marathon Derby Male and Female Champions.
Donawa crossing the finish line in a time of 1:20:08, he was followed by Evan Naude who clocked 1:21:50 and Christopher Harris was third in a time of 1:23:16.
Breary crossed the line in a time of 1:35:38, Martina Olcheski-Bell was the second female finisher with a time of 1:36:53 and Karen Smith was third in 1:39:14.
Quincy Kuzyk won the Heritage Day Junior Classic clocking 11:02, Tommy Marshall was second in 11:14 and Jake Brislane was third in 12:19.
The Heritage Day Junior Classic female winner was Jade Johnston who clocked 13:05, Myeisha Sharrieff was the second female finisher clocking 13:09 and Jessie Marshall was the third female finisher with a time of 13:20.
