The 2018 Bermuda Heritage Day Junior Classic Road Race will celebrate 20 years of sponsorship from Lister Insurance Agency Ltd.

Dennis Lister said, “This is our signature event of the year, just another way of giving back to the community.”

This 2.0 mile race begins at the Junction of Front & Court Street and sees the Junior athletes run along the course lined by thousands of spectators.

Lister said, “This year we are trying something different with it being Open, in the past we had Invitations, but this we have decided to allow all Junior Ages.”

Persons wanting to sign their youngster up for the event can do so online at https://www.racedayworld.com/Race/BM/Hamilton/HeritageDayJuniorClassic

This race will get underway once the final bike taking part in the Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race goes past the start-finish line.

The Race Course sees the Junior Runners start on Front Street at the junction of Front and Court Street at approximately 9:25am. The route will head west along Front Street to the Bird Cage, than turn right onto Queen Street, right onto Church Street, than left onto King Street, than left onto Victoria Street, than right onto Cedar Avenue onto Marsh Folly Road, than right onto Dutton Avenue into the Bernard’s Park.
