Jennifer Alen would have put all the recent disappointments in the Partner Re Women’s 5K Run behind her when she clocked a winning time of 20:01 in cool and light rainy conditions at the Botanical Gardens.
Alen was able to get away from Karen Smith who finished in second clocking 20:25 and Christine Dailey who was third in 20:30.
