West End Primary School continued their winning ways by winning the Bermuda School Sports Federations (BSSF) Primary School Girls Super 8s Cricket Tournament at the National Sports Center.
West End needed to chase 48 runs put up by last year’s champions West Pembroke, West End reached their target with an over to spare. Katherine Bean-Rosario led West End with 23 runs retired. Ny’Asia White led West Pembroke with an unbeaten 10 runs.
West End defeated Saltus Grammar School in their Semi-Final, Saltus batted first and scored 54 in their allotted 6 six for no loss. They were led by Talyor Komposch with 22 retired and Thea Teglegaard with 11. Again Bean Rosario led West End to victory with 20 retired.
West Pembroke defeated Mount Saint Agnes Academy in the other Semi-Final. West Pembroke scored 52 in their overs, MSA never found their momentum and fell short with 29 runs.
