WindReach will host an Adaptive Sports Expo on Saturday, April 29th from 12:00 – 3:30 pm at the Bermuda High School for Girls (BHS).
A WindReach representative stated, “ This will be a fun event for the entire community and we are thrilled to have one of our former programme participants, two time Paralympian, Ms. Jessica Lewis join us at this event.
Lewis will do a demonstration of wheelchair track training techniques and give a brief chat.”
Additional sports to be showcased at the event are; Archery, Boccia and Wheelchair Basketball. Admission is FREE and open to the general public. There will also be an information booth providing details on our unique programmes offered to individuals with special needs including older adults living with dementia.
Drop off is at the Bermuda High School for Girls (BHS) and parking at HSBC’s Woodex on Woodbourne Avenue.
