Diriba Degefa Yigezu from Ethiopia and Gemma Steel from United Kingdom are the 2017 Male and Female Bermuda 10K Champions.
Yigezu picked up where he left off last night after capturing the Men's Elite Mile title he held off the field to take the 10K title in 30:03. Scott Overall from the United Kingdom was second in 30:17 and Alexander Teuten also from the United Kingdom was third in 30:23.
Steel crossed the line 7th overall with a time of 33:55, with Jenny Spink from the United Kingdom finishing second in 34:32 and 9th overall and rounding out the top three female finishers was Rebecca Moore from the United Kingdom finishing 11th overall in a time of 35:40.
Christopher Harris was the first Bermuda runner to cross the line and 13th overall with a time of 36:24, while Catherine Mello was the first Bermuda female finisher and 53rd overall with a time of 43:43.
