Shaquille Dill led the Saint Augustine's University Men’s Cross Country team to a second-place finish in the Blue Bear Cross Country Invitational at Salisbury Community Park in Salisbury, N.C.
Dill finished third in the 8K race with a time of 31:02. Immanuel Hutchinson of Saint Augustine's, who ran unattached, was the winner in 28:30.
Dill’s teammate Nikolas Thomas was fifth in 32:16 and Jonathan Robertson placed ninth in 33:35.
Saint Augustine's University scored 44 points to finish first among CIAA teams and second overall. Livingstone College was third with 59 points and Chowan University placed fourth with 72 points. Bluefield State College won the race with 40 points.
