Hosting their last home event before the October 27th CIAA Championships, Juma Mouchette’s Virginia State University Men's Cross Country teammates took a second place finish at the VSU Trojan Invite.
Participating in invite where the Panthers of Virginia Union, the Vikings of Elizabeth City State and the Shocks of Washington Adventist.
Senior Juma Mouchette led Virginia State and had an overall 4th place finish with a time of 32:01. A little over a minute later, rookie Tyron Evans secures the 7th place finish with a time of 33:04. Rounding out the top 10 finishes was freshman Charles Salley, with a time of 36:43.
Virginia Union finished first, followed by Virginia State. Elizabeth City State took third place, while Washington Adventist rounded out the invite in fourth.
