A bit of borrowed clothes did not make a difference for Bermuda’s Tyrone Smith as he wore a big smile and a different hairdo entering 2016 Rio Olympic Games Opening Ceremony in the Maracana Stadium, Rio de Janeiro waving the Bermuda Flag.
Smith led Bermuda’s Athletes and official’s into the stadium that was electric and packed, those not in Brazil would have never known the challenges everyone faced for this event to get off the ground including a complete lock down.
Competing for Bermuda starting Saturday is Shelley Pearson in Rowing and Julian Fletcher in Swimming.
Bermuda’s other athletes include Tre Houston and Tyrone Smith in Track & Field, Rebecca Heyliger in Swimming, Cameron Pimentel and Ceci Wollmann in Sailing and Flora Duffy in Triathlon.
