The Bermuda Marathon Weekend & Bermuda Triangle Challenge continued, with the running of the Bermuda 10K Run and Walk taking place under some difficult conditions. Updated with Full Results.
The race got underway as a cold front passes across the Island, which brought rain and isolated thunderstorms as well as gale force winds, but the competitors took up the challenge.
Following his third place performance during the Front Street Mile Elite Race, Jordan Chipangama came back and won the race with a time of 31:23, with Bermuda’s Lamont Marshall second clocking 31:46 and Nick Swimburn finished third recording a time of 31:48.
Faye Fullerton won the Ladies title crossing the line 7th overall with a time of 35:37, with Charlotte Arter the second female finisher and 8th overall with a time of 35:48 and Heather Kampf finished 10th overall and was the third female finisher clocking 36:22.
