The Bermuda National Athletics Association’s Cross Country season got underway with the season opener at Chaplin Bay.
The Female 10-11 race was won by two seconds as Che-Chuhae Dowling clocked 11:15.1, while Myeisha Sharrieff crossed the line in 11:17.4. Iziah Tucker ran to victory in the Boys 13-14 race when he clocked 13:22.1, while Ryan Outerbridge finished second in 13:26.7.
Chayce Smith ran to victory in the Open Race covering the 5.5 Mile Course in a time of 37:56.5, while Rose-Anna Hoey won the Female 20-39 Age Group race clocking 31:25.1, Omari Hart clocked 28:33.8 taking the line honors in the Men’s 40-49 Age Group, while Deon Breary won the Female 40-49 run that covered 3.7 Miles with a time of 30:43.6.
