Bermuda’s Youth Commonwealth Games Team arrived back on the island to be greeted by family and friends, phones calls for interviews will be made now that others in the Sports Media locally have seen this on www.islandstats.com to make it appear at least to their bosses they have a finger on the pulse.
Chef-de-Mission Cal Simons said, “Firstly I want to thank the Bermuda Olympic Association for choosing me to lead this group of athletes, the facilities and event were First Class and I have high praises for the organizers.”
David Darrell who was injured during the Games said, “We just tried to encourage each other, we were learning so many different things and if given the chance to compete in the Commonwealth Games I was do several things different such as training and competing at a higher level more often.”
