The Bermuda National Athletics Association’s National Cross Country Championships took place at the Aboretum, with some 100 plus runners taking to the course.
Jay Donawa won the Men’s Masters National Title crossing the line in a time of 21:53, Christopher Harris finished second with a time of 23:33 and Omari Hart rounded out the top 3 finishers clocking 24:59.
In the Men’s Open, the National Title went to Lamont Marshall who clocked 34:03, Darico Clarke finished second with a time of 36:26 and Shane Mcilwain finished third with a time of 37:39.
Deon Breary won the Women’s Masters National title, she was clocked at 27:15, Audrey Darrell was second in 37:48 and Jennie Kelly was third clocking 40:39.
Messiah Greaves was crowned the Under 17 Girls National Champion after she crossed the line in a time of 27:19, Lynsey Palmer was second in 28:08 and Quaashie Douglas finished third with a time of 30:29.
