Chris Estwanik and Rolanda Bell this morning ran away with the Male and Female International Race Weekend Half Marathon Titles.
Both runners picked up where they left off the day before when they won the Bermuda International Race Weekend 10K distances.
Estwanik crossed the line in a time of 1:08:35, with Sean Trott finishing second in 1:12:02 and Stephen Allen finished third in 1:13:05, while Bell crossed the line 6th overall with a time of 1:20:48. Mardrea Hyman was the second female finisher, she finished 8th overall with a time of 1:22:05 and Ashley Estwanik was the 3rd female finisher, she clocked 1:25:53 finishing 13th overall.
Dube and Orlova Win Full Marathon
Tesfaye Dube ran away from the field to capture the International Race Weekend Marathon title when he was clocked across the line in a time of 2:24.17, he also won the Front Street Menís Elite Mile Race.
Fikadu Lemma finished second clocking 2:25.59 and Dereje Hailegiorgis clocked 2:32.43 to finish in third place.
Taking the International Race Weekend Womenís Marathon title was Elana Orlova who covered the course in 2:46.34, Orlova finished 4th overall was more than 15 minutes ahead of the second place female finisher Mikides Bekele who clocked 3:06.27 finishing 7th overall, while Muliye Gurmu was the third female finisher clocking a time of 3:06.32, she finished 8th overall.
