Running in the final event of the season, Ryan Gunn and his Penn State Berks Menís Cross Country teammates competed at the 2011 NCAA Mideast Regional hosted by DeSales University.
The Menís squad compiled 1,364 points to finish 44th out of 47 teams. The Penn State Berks were narrowly edged out by Stevenson (1353 points) for 43rd.
For the first time this season, Gunn was the first Penn State Berks competitor to cross the finish line. The freshman had a time of 30:46 on the 8K course, placing him 247th out of 308 participants. Gunnís time was his fastest in an 8K race this season.
Austin Barlow finished 274th with a time of 31:37 to lead a group of Penn State Berks runners. He was followed by teammate Taylor Helbig who clocked 31:51 to finish in 275th, Michael Rissmiller finished 281st with a time of 32:25, followed by Rich Wall at 287th with a time of 32:57. Marius Espejo rounded out the Penn State Berks runners with a time of 36:28.
