"Several of our guys ran personal bests today," said coach Lori Strand. "Our guys have had a rough time this year with injury and illnesses, so it was encouraging to see them run well. We just have to focus on improving each week."
Layton Dorsett was again the men's top finisher, finishing 59th in the blue heat of the men's 8k with a mark of 26:05.74. Ramsey White was the next Samford Menís Cross Country person across the line, placing 125th with a time of 26:38.61. Stevens-Carty followed in 165th clocking 26:58.32 with James Graham finishing 181st, with a time of 27:09.06 and Nicholas Cork finished 249th, clocking 28:27.91 rounding out the men's team. As a team, Samford finished 28th.
