Bermuda Karting Club Drivers Nile Bean and Jamie Newton began competing in the Florida Winter Tour Karting Race Series recently.
On Day One during the Qualifiers Newton finished 22nd, recording his fastest lap of the 12 on the third lap as he clocked at 54.374, while Bean finished 25th his ninth lap was his fastest clocked at 54.619.
In the 8 lap Race One, Newton clocked a time of 7:27.593 on his way to finishing 18th, while Bean finished 24th clocking a time of 7:32.273.
Race Two also covered 8 laps, with Bean finishing 21st with a time of 7:31.586, while Newton recorded a Did Not Finish.
Newton recorded his best finish of the day in Race Three, he was clocked in an eight lap time of 7:24.222 finishing 14th, Bean only managed 4 laps before recording a Did not Finish.
