Motocross racing at the Southside Moto Sports Park came to a halt before the official racing got started.
The gusty conditions had officials worried, during the practice round Sonej Mitchell had an accident take saw him taken to the Hospital via St. John’s Ambulance with a leg injury.
Following a lengthy delay race officials decided that the conditions were just too dangerous to have a race day.
After spending several hours at the Hospital Mitchell was released, however his brother Jyire was not so fortunate and he was admitted to the Hospital after an injury in Training.
