White Finishes 17th Overall in Spain

Dakari White was back in action competing in the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto in Spain.

Day Two was much better than Day One that had rain during the 600cc racing.

White would finish 17th overall, with White saying via social media, “We leave here with invaluable knowledge and motivation to push and improve for 2019. We were blessed with a dry race today and I made the most of it.”

“I made passes early in the race and tried to maintain the gap, unfortunately a few mistakes brought them back to me but we finished 11th again and scored points,” continued White.

White concluded, “I am very happy for the opportunity this weekend. What a great way to end the season! Bring on 2019!”

White Finishes 11th in Spain Championships Race 1

Dakari White began competing in the Spanish CEV Motor-Cycle Championships in Spain.

On Day One in some “wet” conditions to say the least, White and the other competitors took to the track for a Qualifying Race and Race 1.

White started from the back row of the grid and he was able to make some crucial passes during the race and ended up 11th in his category at the flags.

Via social media White said, “I’ve already achieved my goals which were to come here, learn and score points.”

Mitchell & Ingham Compete in Tennessee

Jyire Mitchell
Jyire Mitchell and Jonah Smith competed in the Mega & Ultra Series - Top Gun Showdown Motocross event at the Muddy Creek Raceway - Blountville, Tennessee.

Competing in the 250 A/Pro Class, Mitchell would finish first this after recording a win in the First Moto and he was second in the Second Moto.

With two 5th place finishes in the 450 A/Pro Class, Mitchell would finish 5th.

Smith was down to compete in the 450 A/Pro Class, but engine problems forced him out of the race.

Mitchell & Ingham Compete in South Carolina

Jyire Mitchell and Zendai Ingham competed at the Mega & Ultra Series in South Carolina.

Mitchell competed in the 450 A/Pro Class were he crossed the line 2nd twice and finished second overall.

Ingham who had engine problems finished 9th in the School Boy 2 Class, this after he Did Not Finish the first heat and then 8th in the second Heat, he would then finish 15th in the 250 C Division, he finished 15th in the first heat and then Did Not Start the second race.

Karting In Hamilton NOT a BKC Event

The Bermuda Karting Club would like to take this opportunity to advise members of the public that the Go Kart event taking place at North Hamilton on October 13th 2018 is NOT a Bermuda Karting club sanctioned event.

It is not one of our annual Grand Prix Street Races.

This is an event being hosted by the B.I.F.F (Bermuda International Football Foundation) in connection with David Barbosa and the CRG Rental Karts.

We would like to thank the public for their attention to this matter and for their continued support of the Bermuda Karting Club.
