IOD World Championship 2021 Day Three

Sailors were back on the water competing on Race Day Three of the International One Design Class 85th Anniversary & World Championship 2021 on the Great Sound.

Two more races were sailed, as it was moving day with sailors having the chance to drop their worse race to date.

With the provisional results posted, current World Champions John Burnham and Peter Rugg remain the leaders after the third day of racing having finished fifth in the first race of the day and the fifth of the series, and then crossed the line 2nd in the second race, and they have 10 Net Points.

Tom Freemont-Smith remained in 2nd after finishing 3rd third in the first race on the day and then he won the second race he now has 13 Net Points.

Bermuda’s Patrick Cooper who started the day in 6th overall came off the water in 3rd, this after finishing 2nd in the first race and then 4th in the second race, he has 17 Net Points.
