And finally, the wind arrived! 15-20 knots today allowed the 2021 EurILCA Radial Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy to complete the first 3 races in Kastela, Croatia.
A sunny sky and great sea breeze enlightened the competition today, providing champagne sailing conditions for Sebastian Kempe and the other sailors.
Kempe would come off the water in 30th overall in the Boy's Fleet, he is also 8th in the Under 17 Division.
Kempe crossed the line 3rd in the first race of the day, he would then finish 19th in the second race, before closing out with a 19th place finish in the third race to end the day with 41 points.
This was Race day 4 so only 2 of them are missing to conclude the championships. Races tomorrow will serve to wrap the Qualifying series, while the last day will be reserved for the Finals.
