Benn Smith took part in the LaserPerformance Men’s Singlehanded National Championships, co-hosted by Santa Barbara Yacht Club and the University of California Santa Barbara.
The Championships wrapped up with Leo Boucher, a sophomore at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, winning the Men’s Championship.
The championships included the top 18 Men Singlehanded Sailors in the Nation including Smith who represented the College of Charleston.
