The 17th year of the RenaissanceRe Junior Gold Cup got underway on the Great Sound.
Four races were held on Day One, with George Lee Rush from New Zealand leading with 9 Points, Rush won the first two races before finishing 6th in the third race, before winning the final race of the day.
In second place is the first female sailor Maria Gracia Vegas Trivelli from Peru who has 18 points, Trivelli won the third race of the day, she also recorded finishes of 2nd, 4th and 11th.
Sebastian Kempe is leading the Bermuda Fleet and is in 3rd place with 21 points, while Christian Ebbin is in 4th with 26 points and Matheo Capasso from Cayman Island rounds out the top five sailors after Day One with 27 points.
