Evans Finishes 3rd in Shark Infested Brisbane Waters

Rockal Evans concluded competing in the 2018 Sail Brisbane Regatta in the Finn Class.

The event was an adventure for the Bermuda Olympic hopeful, during Day Two of racing Evans sailed over a shark that was seen on the course, meanwhile Evans told wwww.islandstats.com, “Bull sharks are in the marina and no one can swim in it and the bay is covered in sharks the locals say.”

Through all of that, Evans was able to finish 3rd overall with 16 Net Points after eight races.

Evans did not the start the 8th race and he threw out a third place finish as he finished behind Jake Lilley who finished with points, with Lewis Brake finishing second with 13 points.

Evans recorded two second place finishes to go along with five third place finishes.
