Day Two of Bermuda International Invitational Race Week got off to a delayed start due to the weather front that came through late in the morning.
Race Officer, Somers Kempe, released all classes to start racing at 1:30pm Sunday afternoon. The wind settled down to 15-18kts but the rain stayed for the afternoon.
Three Fleets hit the water, with the Etchells, J105 and IOD Classes all taking to the Great Sound.
In the Etchells Class, Jay Cross out of Canada continues to lead, he now has 4 points, with Scott Snyder from USA in second with 9 points.
The J105 Fleet Class is currently being led by Keith Chiappa sailing Chequemate with 7 points, one spot back is Trevor Boyce sailing Yabsta and William Pollett sailing Elusive.
Bermuda’s Martin Siese and Mark Wincer from the UK are the leaders of the IOD Class with 6 points each.
