Three more races were held on Day Three of the 2018 Finn Australian Championships, with Rockal Evans and 27 other sailors taking to the waters off the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
Evans started the day in 8th place, but he came off the water in 10th place with 54 points, this after he was ruled a UFD for the third race of the day giving him 30 points in the race.
Evans was having a fantastic day as far as results were concerned having finished the first race of the day in 5th and then crossed the line 3rd in the second race.
UFD Meaning U-Flagged - a ruling where a boat is deemed to have prematurely started a race that is started under “U” Flag and is disqualified from that race and awarded the maximum number of points, unless that race is subsequently restarted.
