Bermuda's America Cup Qualifying Semi-Finals Day 2

IslandStats.com
The Drama continues as the Second Race Day Preliminaries Semi Finals of the 35th America's Cup began in high winds on the Great Sound.

Just as racing was set to get underway, Emirates Team New Zealand pulled their boat back out of the water, it was unclear if they have sustained damage.

But the first Semi-Final of the day got underway with Soft Bank Team Japan getting a great start, while in contrast Artemis Racing were really late to the start line.

Soft Bank Team Japan lead was extended to 47 seconds over Artemis Racing at gate 4.

Big nosedive from Artemis Racing at Gate 5 allows Soft Bank Team Japan to streak ahead.

Soft Bank Team Japan crossed the finish line, while back on the racecourse Artemis Racing confirm their retirement from the race.

Emirates Team New Zealand managed to get their boat back in the water and ready to race, and it was a lightning start from Land Rover BAR sees them get off the start line ahead of Emirates Team New Zealand in the second race of the day.

Despite the setback, Ben Ainslie's Land Rover BAR remain ahead of Emirates Team New Zealand heading into Gate 3, but a slight mistake by Land Rover BAR at gate 4 allows Emirates Team New Zealand to take the lead.

Peter Burling held his nerve as Emirates Team New Zealand to take a 3-0 lead over Land Rover BAR.
