Thirty-Eight Bermuda youngsters took to the waters of the Hamilton Harbor looking for the six available spots up for grabs in the America's Cup Endeavour O'pen.
The Bermuda O’pen BIC National Championships got underway with Ahzai Smith leading after Day One with 12 points.
Smith recorded two wins, two seconds, two thirds and a sixth in the seven races sailed on the day.
Fiachra McDonnell is in second with 19 Net Points, after picking up two wins on the day and rounding out the top three finishers was Sebastian Kempe, Rian Geraghty-McDonnell and Aiden Lopes all with 20 Net Points.
The Bermuda Six Sailors will compete against youth sailors, age 15 and younger, coming from Japan, France, New Zealand, Sweden, Australia, Great Britain, Italy, Germany, and Poland.
